A beautiful vintage Royal Albert Old Country Roses tall bud vase, crafted from fine English bone china.
This distinctive vase has an elegant elongated shape, with a gently curved neck, flared asymmetrical opening and rounded lower body. It stands on a small pedestal-style foot and is finished with traditional gold gilding around the opening and base.
The vase is decorated with several arrangements of the classic Old Country Roses design, featuring rich red, pink and yellow roses surrounded by green foliage. Additional smaller rose sprays are positioned around the neck and body.
The unusual curved silhouette makes this a particularly attractive display piece and gives it a more decorative appearance than the standard straight-necked bud vase.
The underside carries the traditional backstamp:

Condition
Good vintage condition overall.
No obvious chips, cracks or repairs can be seen in the photographs. The tall neck, flared opening, body and pedestal base appear intact.
There is noticeable age-related rubbing and loss to the gold gilding around the top rim. Some lighter wear is also visible around the gold trim on the base.
There are light surface marks, small specks and minor signs of previous display consistent with age. The underside and foot show some contact marks from standing and handling.
The floral decoration remains colourful and attractive, and the original Royal Albert backstamp is present and readable.
