A wonderfully characterful vintage ceramic teapot modelled as a seated French Bulldog or Boston Terrier wearing a bright red scarf.
The dog is finished in glossy shades of grey, cream and white, with a wrinkled muzzle, upright ears, pink inner-ear detail and expressive black eyes. Moulded fur and facial details give the piece plenty of personality, while the vivid red scarf creates an eye-catching contrast.
The dog’s raised front paw forms the pouring spout, while the scarf curves around the back to create the teapot handle. The underside is marked Dishwasher Safe, although no manufacturer or country of production is shown.
