Royal Doulton Stirling Home Run Heroes of the Sky Collector Plate Michael Turner RAF Bomber Aviation Plate with Certificate
Vintage Royal Doulton collector plate titled “Stirling Home Run”, from the Heroes of the Sky collector’s plate series.
This striking aviation-themed decorative plate features a wartime bomber aircraft flying low over a rural landscape, with a child running in the foreground. The artwork is by Michael Turner and has lovely detail, soft sky colours and a classic military aviation feel.
The reverse is marked Limited Edition, “Stirling Home Run”, fourth issue in the collector’s plate series entitled Heroes of the Sky, reproduced from the original work by Michael Turner and fired to the highest quality standards of Royal Doulton. Plate number 1006C. This edition was limited to a maximum of 75 firing days.
Comes with the original information leaflet/certificate shown in the photos. A great display piece for collectors of Royal Doulton, military aviation, RAF memorabilia, World War II aircraft, bomber aircraft artwork or decorative collector plates.
Decorative display item only and not intended for food use.
Condition:
Good vintage pre-owned condition with light age-related wear/marks. Hanger attached to the reverse for wall display. Please see photos carefully as they form part of the description.
