You are purchasing a Royal Doulton Bo Peep HN1811 Children‘s Literature Lady Figurine Leslie Harradine Vintage Collectable. The figurine is in immaculate condition with no chips, cracks or crazing, it would be the perfect addition to anyone‘s pretty lady collection.
Born Arthur (Leslie) Harradine (1887-1965), Leslie was one of Royal Doulton’s premier and most prolific modellers producing superb figures from 1920 until the mid 1950s. Many hugely popular models flowed from his small home studio. It is said that the other Doulton artists, designers and painters would all gather round eagerly when his monthly shipment was unpacked to see what he had come up with this time.
Bo Peep HN1811 Figure looks adorable in her soft pink dress delicately detailed with small flowers. White ruffled at the cuff, and a light blue bonnet with the strings dangling over her shoulders. She is carrying the classic hook used to herd sheep.
