A beautiful antique footed porcelain bowl dating from the late Victorian to Edwardian period, featuring delicate hand-painted floral decoration, raised enamel flowers with jeweled centres, and a richly gilded scalloped rim.
The bowl stands on three decorative gilt-highlighted feet and displays lovely blush white flowers against a warm amber-brown background. The applied floral decoration and gold detailing are characteristic of highly decorative cabinet ware produced around the turn of the 20th century.
The underside bears a small green floral mark, and the style is strongly reminiscent of Nippon-era decorative porcelain.
This charming piece would make a wonderful addition to an antique porcelain collection, a Victorian display cabinet, or as a decorative trinket or jewellery dish.
