Beautiful vintage Wedgwood bone china collector plate titled “The Flower Girl”, from the Yesterday’s Child series by Compton & Woodhouse.
This charming decorative plate features a young girl seated on stone steps with a basket of flowers, painted in soft Victorian-style tones. A lovely nostalgic piece for collectors of Wedgwood, childhood scenes, floral artwork, cottagecore decor, decorative wall plates or English bone china.
The reverse is marked Wedgwood Bone China, Made in England, Yesterday’s Child, Portraits of Childhood by Eminent Victorian Artists, “The Flower Girl” by Caroline Paterson. Limited edition collection of 25,000, produced for Compton & Woodhouse Ltd.
Comes with certificate/paperwork and original Compton & Woodhouse presentation box shown in the photos. Please note the outer box has age-related storage wear.
