Vintage Wedgwood bone china collector plate titled “Arrival of the Carol Singers”, from the Colin Newman’s Country Christmas series.
This beautiful decorative plate features a nostalgic snowy Christmas village scene with carol singers arriving at a cottage, surrounded by winter wildlife including robins, deer, fox, owl, badger and holly. A lovely festive collectible piece for fans of Wedgwood, traditional Christmas decor, country scenes, wildlife artwork, decorative wall plates or English bone china.
The reverse is marked Wedgwood Bone China, Made in England, “Arrival of the Carol Singers” by Colin Newman. This is the second issue in Colin Newman’s Country Christmas series, created in Wedgwood fine bone china by Josiah Wedgwood & Sons Limited. Dated 1990. Official limited edition plate.
Comes with original Wedgwood box and paperwork/leaflet shown in the photos. Please note the outer box has age-related storage wear.
