A charming vintage Royal Worcester fine bone china holder decorated with two contrasting botanical flower studies.
One side features soft blue gentian flowers with dark green foliage, while the reverse displays a group of yellow daffodils. The understated grey, blue and yellow colouring gives the piece an elegant mid-century appearance.
This small vessel appears to have originally been sold as part of a Royal Worcester giftware set and is variously described as a cigarette holder, match holder or toothpick holder. Today, it would also make a lovely miniature posy vase, makeup-brush holder or decorative desk accessory.
The underside carries the printed Royal Worcester Fine Bone China, England backstamp together with the number 51, commonly associated with this Royal Worcester botanical giftware range.
