A charming vintage Royal Albert miniature handled basket in the iconic Old Country Roses pattern.
This decorative bone china basket has a shallow oval dish with a tall twisted rope-style handle. It is decorated with arrangements of red, pink and yellow roses, green foliage and rich gold-coloured edging around the shaped rim.
The underside carries the Royal Albert Old Country Roses backstamp reading “Royal Albert, Bone China, England.”
Ideal for displaying small jewellery pieces, rings, wrapped sweets or keepsakes, or simply as a decorative addition to an Old Country Roses collection, dressing table or china cabinet.

Condition
Vintage condition with visible age-related wear.
The twisted handle appears intact and no obvious large chips or repairs can be seen in the photographs.
There is noticeable rubbing, thinning, darkening and uneven wear to the gold-coloured edging around the basket rim.
A long, fine dark line is visible across the inside of the dish beneath the handle. From the photographs alone, it is not possible to confirm whether this is a surface scratch, glaze line or fine hairline, so it has been clearly disclosed and should be considered when purchasing.
There are also light surface marks, small specks and some shelf wear and discolouration around the underside foot.
