A charming vintage Royal Albert miniature ornamental basket from the iconic Old Country Roses giftware collection.
The basket has a decorative woven basket-effect body, a tall twisted handle and an attractively shaped rim. It is decorated on both sides with the familiar Old Country Roses arrangement of red, pink and yellow roses with green foliage.
Gold-coloured trim follows the shaped upper edge, adding to its traditional decorative appearance. The underside carries the Royal Albert Old Country Roses backstamp and confirms that the piece was made in England from bone china.
This small basket would look lovely displayed in a china cabinet, on a dressing table or alongside a wider Royal Albert collection. It could also be used to hold a ring, a few small pieces of jewellery or another lightweight keepsake.

Vintage condition with noticeable age-related wear.
The bone china basket and twisted handle appear intact, with no obvious chips, cracks or repairs visible in the photographs.
There is substantial rubbing, thinning and darkening to the gold-coloured trim around the shaped rim, particularly along the raised sections and corners. There are also light surface marks and some underside shelf wear consistent with age and previous display.
