A charming vintage Royal Albert decorative shoe ornament in the famous Old Country Roses pattern.
The ornament is made from English bone china and is shaped as an elegant high-heeled shoe. It features the classic Old Country Roses floral design, with deep red, pink and yellow roses set against a white glazed background.
The shoe is finished with decorative gold gilding around the opening, heel and outer edges. Raised and textured details across the body add further interest to the design.
The underside carries the Royal Albert Old Country Roses backstamp, confirming that the piece was made in England. The 1962 date shown within the mark relates to the copyright of the Old Country Roses pattern rather than necessarily being the manufacturing date of this individual item.

Good vintage condition overall, with noticeable age-related wear to the gilded decoration.
No obvious chips, cracks or repairs can be seen in the photographs. The heel, toe and other projecting sections appear intact.
There is considerable rubbing and fading to the gold gilding, particularly around the opening of the shoe, toe, heel and lower edges. Some areas of the remaining gilding have darkened with age.
There are also light surface marks, small specks and general signs of previous display and handling. The underside shows some age-related marks and wear around the base.
The original Royal Albert backstamp remains present and readable.
