A cheerful vintage ceramic teapot with a rounded body and a vibrant multicoloured rainbow-style glaze.

The decoration blends areas of bright red, yellow, blue and green across the body, spout, handle and lid, creating a softly airbrushed or colour-washed effect rather than sharply defined stripes. The highly glossy finish enhances the rich colours and gives the teapot an eye-catching retro appearance.

Its generous rounded form is completed by a curved handle, raised pouring spout and removable lid with a simple knob finial. Subtle throwing or moulding rings are visible beneath the glaze, adding texture to the body.

No manufacturer’s name, factory backstamp or country mark is visible. The underside carries only a small handwritten or painted number 7, which is likely to be a decorator, production or size mark rather than a confirmed model number.

This colourful piece would make an attractive display teapot for a retro kitchen, colourful dresser, maximalist interior or vintage ceramics collection. As its food safety and watertightness have not been tested, it may be best suited to decorative use.

The underside foot rim shows contact and storage marks. The lid, spout and handle appear intact in the photographs. The teapot has not been tested for watertightness, pouring performance, food safety or use with hot liquids. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description and show the exact teapot that will be received.
