Beautiful vintage Karl Ens Volkstedt porcelain figurine featuring two birds perched on a tree branch in a charming feeding or affectionate pose. Expertly modelled and hand-painted in soft yellow and brown tones with fine detailing throughout.
Produced by the renowned German porcelain maker Karl Ens of Volkstedt, this decorative bird study is a lovely example of mid-century European porcelain craftsmanship and would make an attractive addition to any bird figurine collection or vintage home display.
The underside bears the blue Volkstedt/Karl Ens factory mark and impressed model number 1291.
Condition:
Good vintage condition
No chips or cracks noted
Minor age-related wear to the base consistent with age and display
