You are purchasing a Vintage Gold Tone Brooch Bow Pin Costume Jewellery Jewelry Sunburst 1970‘s Retro Singed © BSK. The Brooch is in excellent condition with no missing stones or damage. The clasp is in good working order. This would make the perfect gift for a loved one.
The brooch is roughly 7.5 cm in length.
This late-mid-century costume brooch by BSK is in the form of a fringy, sculptural Bow in gold-toned metal. The two major components are riveted together rather than soldered. The fastener is a hinged pin with rollover safety catch.
BSK was the mark first used by New York jewelry maker B. Steinberg Kaslo Company in 1957, and registered with the U.S. Patent Office as a trademark in 1973. The firm incorporated as B. Steinberg Kaslo Co., Inc. in 1969, and went out of business in 1992. BSK produced well-made mid-range costume jewelry that is now considered collectible as it is relatively rare compared to some of the better-known brands.
