A characterful vintage ceramic dog figurine modelled as a seated black and white Border Collie or sheepdog.
The dog is shown sitting upright in an attentive pose, with folded ears, an alert expression and a long, textured coat. Deeply moulded fur detail covers the chest, face, body and tail, while the traditional black-and-white colouring recreates the distinctive appearance associated with working collies.
Painted brown eyes, a glossy black nose and small black claw details give the figurine additional character. Its substantial height makes it an attractive display piece for a shelf, cabinet, mantelpiece or country-inspired interior.

The underside and unglazed standing areas show noticeable dark contact marks, brown discolouration, dust or residue from storage and display. Reflections across the glossy black and white glaze make extremely fine scratches difficult to assess completely.
