A charming vintage Aynsley hinged pill box in the discontinued Wild Tudor pattern, made in England from fine bone china.
The recognised specialist description for this particular form is a Pill Box. It may also be usefully described as a small hinged trinket box, ring box, jewellery box or keepsake container.
The box has a small rounded body with a fitted, gently domed lid. The two bone china sections are joined by a brass-coloured metal mount with a rear hinge and front fastening.
The lid is decorated with a pink carnation or pink-style flower and fine grey-green foliage. The outside of the box carries additional Wild Tudor floral sprays, including pansies, blue flowers and delicate wildflower foliage. A further pansy motif decorates the inside of the lid.
The underside carries the blue Aynsley crown backstamp reading “Est. 1775, Aynsley, Wild Tudor, Fine Bone China, Made in England.”
The Wild Tudor pattern was produced from approximately 1991 to 2001. This dates the individual piece to the 1990s or around the turn of the millennium, making it approximately 25–35 years old.
Its compact size makes it suitable for storing tablets, rings, earrings or other very small keepsakes. It would also make an attractive dressing-table ornament or addition to a collection of vintage Aynsley giftware.

Good vintage display condition overall.
No obvious chips, cracks or repairs can be seen in the supplied photographs. No pronounced crazing or heavy staining is visible.
The brass-coloured metal mount shows noticeable age-related tarnishing, darkening, rubbing and surface wear. The hinge and front fastening are present, and the lid is shown in both open and closed positions in the photographs.
There are several small age-related marks and specks on the china, including marks around the underside and lid. Light surface and handling wear may also be present.
The floral decoration remains colourful and clear. The interior appears generally clean, with minor signs of previous use.
