Beautiful vintage Aynsley Little Sweetheart horse-shaped lidded trinket box, made in England from fine bone china.
This unusual two-piece design depicts a reclining horse, with the horse’s upper body forming the removable lid and the lower body forming a small concealed storage compartment. A matching example is described in the resale market as an Aynsley English Bone China Horse Trinket Box, measuring approximately 3¼ inches tall.
The glossy white china is decorated with the delicate Little Sweetheart pattern, featuring softly coloured pink and blue flowers with pale green foliage. Fine gold detailing highlights the horse’s ears and facial features.
The underside carries the genuine Aynsley factory backstamp:

Minor wear may be present to the gold detailing, consistent with age.
