Beautiful vintage Aynsley Cottage Garden pedestal-shaped vase, made in England from fine bone china.
This piece has been identified as the Pedestal Shape vase from the Aynsley Cottage Garden giftware range. It has a traditional urn-inspired form with a wide trumpet-shaped opening, two small decorative side handles and a flared pedestal base. Specialist replacement-china seller Chinasearch catalogues this shape at approximately 4¼ inches wide by 5½ inches high.
The vase is decorated with the classic Cottage Garden pattern, featuring colourful roses, bluebells, smaller cottage flowers, green foliage and butterflies against a white glazed background. Reflective gilt highlights can be seen throughout the floral decoration.
The underside carries the genuine Aynsley factory backstamp:
