Beautiful vintage Aynsley Cottage Garden Mini Rabbit Ornament, made in England from fine bone china.
The surviving wording on the original base sticker, together with an exact matching example, identifies this particular design as the Aynsley Mini Rabbit Ornament.
The figurine depicts an adorable seated rabbit with its front paws held together, one upright ear and one softly folded ear. It is finished in glossy white fine bone china and decorated with the classic Cottage Garden design of colourful roses, blue and orange flowers, green foliage and a blue butterfly.
Delicate gold accents have been applied to the rabbit’s eyes and nose.
The original blue and gold Aynsley foil label remains attached to the side. The underside is marked:

The circular opening underneath is part of the figurine’s original hollow construction and is not damage.
The Cottage Garden collection is recorded as a discontinued Aynsley pattern produced from approximately 1970 to 2001. This individual figurine is not marked with an exact year of manufacture.
