Beautiful vintage Aynsley Cottage Garden hexagonal lidded jar, made in England from fine bone china.
This substantial decorative jar has a tall six-sided body with softly rounded shoulders, a short raised neck and a matching removable domed lid finished with a pointed finial.
It is decorated with the classic Cottage Garden pattern, featuring colourful roses, bluebells and other cottage flowers, green foliage and butterflies against a glossy white background. The floral decoration continues onto the lid.
The original oval Aynsley foil label remains attached to the front.
The underside carries the genuine Aynsley factory backstamp:
