Beautiful vintage Aynsley Cottage Garden Mini Dolphin Ornament, made in England from fine bone china.
The original product identification sticker on the underside identifies this exact piece as:
Animal Dolphin – Mini Dolphin Ornament

The ornament depicts a graceful adult dolphin arching above a smaller dolphin on a stylised wave base. The larger dolphin is decorated with colourful Cottage Garden flowers and a blue butterfly, with delicate gold detailing to the eye and nose.
This is part of Aynsley’s decorative animal giftware range and is a lovely crossover piece for collectors of Aynsley china, dolphins, marine-life ornaments and vintage English ceramics. Identical Cottage Garden dolphin ornaments are documented in the current resale market, while the same dolphin mould was also produced in Aynsley’s Wild Tudor design.

The original product identification sticker remains attached but has visible age-related wear, creasing and some surface loss.
