Vintage Royal Worcester fine porcelain collector plate titled “Along the Towpath”, from Roger Kent’s Romance of the Waterways collector plate series.
This lovely decorative plate features a peaceful English canal scene with a horse on the towpath, a narrowboat on the water, countryside landscape, village church and rural detail. A charming collectible piece for fans of canal boats, narrowboats, waterways, countryside artwork, Royal Worcester china, decorative wall plates or traditional English scenes.
The reverse is marked Royal Worcester Fine Porcelain, Made in England, “Along the Towpath”, fifth issue in Roger Kent’s Romance of the Waterways, depicting scenes of canal life in England at the turn of the century. Dated 1990. Plate number 5444A. Edition strictly limited to a maximum firing period of 95 days.
Comes with original Royal Worcester box and paperwork/leaflet shown in the photos. Please note the outer box has age-related storage wear.
Decorative display item only and not intended for food use.
Condition:
Good vintage pre-owned condition with light age-related wear/marks. Hanger attached to reverse for wall display. Outer box shows storage wear. Please see photos carefully as they form part of the description.
