Gainsborough, one of the worlds most gifted portrait painters, is credited with capturing the beauty of 18th century high society. Peter Gee, one of Royal Doultons most gifted sculptors, painstakingly studied each portrait in order to capture the appeal of each masterpiece. Peter Gee has captured the essene of the original portraits, concentrating on the facial expressions and the delicacy of each dress.
