A substantial vintage Aynsley two-handled covered urn vase in the discontinued Wild Tudor pattern, made in England from fine bone china.
The most reliable researched description for this particular form is a large two-handled covered urn vase. It may also be described as an amphora-shaped jar and cover, pedestal urn or decorative lidded vase.
The piece has a classical urn-shaped body with rounded shoulders, two elegant open loop handles, a narrow moulded collar and a broad pedestal foot. Its removable domed lid is topped with a raised bud or acorn-shaped finial.
The front is decorated with the detailed Wild Tudor floral design, featuring an abundant arrangement of English garden and wild flowers in pink, red, blue, lilac, yellow and green. Smaller coordinating floral sprays decorate the lid and pedestal foot.
Gold-coloured detailing appears around the lid, finial, handles, neck collar and pedestal base, providing an elegant contrast against the white china.
The underside carries the blue Aynsley crown backstamp reading “Est. 1775, Aynsley, Wild Tudor, Fine Bone China, Made in England.” The original oval blue and gold Aynsley foil label also remains attached to the underside.
The Wild Tudor pattern was produced from approximately 1991 to 2001. This dates the individual piece to the 1990s or very early 2000s, making it approximately 25–35 years old.
This was primarily designed as a decorative covered urn or display vase. It would make an impressive mantelpiece, sideboard, dresser or console-table ornament. The lid can also be removed if the piece is to be used for dried or artificial flowers.

Good vintage display condition overall.
No obvious chips, cracks or repairs can be seen in the supplied photographs. No pronounced crazing, heavy staining or significant damage is visible.
The original lid is present and appears to sit correctly on the urn. Both handles and the lid finial appear intact.
There is some light age-related rubbing and unevenness to the gold-coloured detailing, particularly around sections of the lid rim, handles, neck collar and pedestal foot.
A few small marks and areas of discolouration are visible inside the opening. Grey shelf wear, rubbing and underside discolouration are also present around the base rim.
Light surface and handling marks may be present in keeping with the piece’s vintage age. The original Aynsley foil label remains attached to the underside.
