Beautiful vintage Aynsley Cottage Garden large fine bone china vase, made in England.
Specialist replacement-china seller Chinasearch catalogues this Cottage Garden form simply as a 9-inch vase, without assigning it a separate named shape. A visually matching example is also recorded as measuring approximately 9 inches high.
The vase has a substantial rounded body with faceted sides, an angular base and a wide, shaped neck with a softly scalloped rim. It is decorated with the classic Cottage Garden pattern of colourful flowers, green foliage and butterflies against a white glazed background.
The underside carries the genuine Aynsley factory backstamp:
