Beautiful vintage Aynsley Cottage Garden Tudor Vase, made in England from fine bone china.
The original product label on the base identifies this exact shape and size as:
Cottage Garden – Tudor Vase – 6 inches
The vase has an elegant tall, gently curved form with a rounded lower body, narrow neck and distinctive shaped rim. It is decorated with the classic Cottage Garden design, featuring colourful roses, bluebells and other cottage flowers, green foliage, blue and red butterflies, and delicate gilt highlights against a glossy white background.
The original oval Aynsley foil label remains attached, together with the original product identification sticker on the underside.
The Cottage Garden collection was produced from approximately 1970 to 2001, although this individual vase does not carry a specific year of manufacture.
A lovely collectible vase suitable for a small arrangement of fresh, dried or artificial flowers. It would also make an attractive cabinet, mantelpiece, dressing-table or cottagecore display piece.
