Beautiful vintage Aynsley Cottage Garden fine bone china bowl, made in England.
This piece is the Shell Embossed on Outside shape from the Aynsley Cottage Garden giftware collection. It has a rounded, deeply lobed body with raised shell-style moulding around the outside, a softly scalloped rim and a small circular foot.
The exterior is decorated with the classic Cottage Garden pattern, featuring colourful flowers, green foliage and butterflies against a white fine bone china background. Fine gold detailing can also be seen within the floral decoration.
The underside carries the genuine factory backstamp:
