Beautiful vintage Aynsley 225th Anniversary Collection Art Deco-style vase, made in England from fine bone china.
The printed factory backstamp dates this piece specifically to 2000, when Aynsley marked 225 years since the company’s establishment in 1775. Unlike many undated Aynsley pieces, the year of production for this commemorative collection can therefore be identified with confidence.
This decorative vase has a distinctive six-sided or hexagonal form, with a gently flared geometric opening and faceted body. Fine gold edging finishes the upper rim.
The decoration is strongly influenced by Art Deco revival styling, with elongated geometric panels, angular blue, green, yellow and red motifs, and a central arrangement of brightly coloured flowers against a glossy white background.

No obvious chips, cracks or major damage can be seen in the photographs.
There are light signs of previous display and handling, together with visible age-related marks and discolouration around the underside foot rim. Minor surface specks or marks may also be present.
The gold edging appears well retained overall, although there may be slight age-related wear consistent with a piece made in 2000.
